“Sweet Surrender” also features an amazing game room chock full of fun with a pool table, electronic dart board, air hockey table, Wii gaming system, TV and stereo. And although this cabin sleeps six, feel free to steal away with your love to the master suite.     First of all let me say that Sweet Surrender was the nicest 1 BR cabin we have ever stayed in. It was clean and well laid out. It was just like it was pictured in the slide show, which is unusual for many cabins. Eden Crest is nice and was even easy to find. The directions to the cabin were right on, another unusual occurrence in my experience. We did have to go back into town the first night because there was no hair dryer. I don't remember one being mentioned in the amenities in the cabin, but come on, even the cheapest motels have hair dryers these days. The only other thing that was slightly disappointing is that the HD TV in the living room had the worst picture I have ever seen on a newer TV. We watch a lot of movies and that can make a difference to some. I adjusted some settings and it looked better after that but still not what it should. The cabin's telephone did not work the whole time we were there, but we had cell phone service. Ran out to get breakfast during heavy rain the keypad for the gate did not work when I got back and I waited about 10 minutes for another vehicle to come along from the other side where the gate automatically opens so that I could get back in. All in all I don't want to detract too much from how nice the cabin is, I think that I just expect too much.

    This is my fourth time renting this cabin and it still does not disappoint. We like that it is clean and has all of the game room fun and a hot tub and sauna. Also, it is a one bedroom cabin but has two pull out sofas so you can sleep up to six. The location is excellent. You can take back roads and end up in sevierville or further down in pigeon forgebin about 10 minutes. Also, unlike some of the other cabins in Bear Creek your deck is completely private. You look out into trees and a field below. Very peaceful. I highly recommend.

    THIS WAS THE BEST TRIP FOR MY HUSBAND AND I, THE LEAVES WE STARTING TO FALL AND THE NIGHTS WERE COOL. THE CABIN WAS PERFECT!! THE BED COULD USE A MEMORY FOAM TOPPER, IT WAS KINDA HARD. BUT OVERALL IT WAS WONDERFUL. WE ENJOYED WALKING DOWN AND PLAYING PUTT PUTT. BEAR CREEK CROSSING IS AWESOME.

    We have three children age 9 and up. This was a great stay for us. The only thing was with the game room up stairs above master bedroom you could hear the kids all night. That was poor planning on my part. Everyone enjoyed our stay.

    The weekend didn't get started off as well as I'd hoped it would when Eden Crest gave us the wrong security code for the alarm. The alarm started going off (and it was LOUD). We didn't have any phone service at the cabin so we had to leave the cabin to get the correct code but other than that the week it was perfect we will definitely stay again

    My boyfriend and I took a much needed vacation to gatlinburg, unfortunately a few days after the fires. The cabin was amazing, located right in pigeon forge so there's plenty to do and see. The rental company were so helpful, and even mailed a left item back to us. The only complaint I have is not receiving the door code and security system PIN before we arrived, so it was super embarrassing when the alarm was going off. Other than that everything was clean and well maintained.

    KIds were off to different places so wife, poodle and my self decided to great away for the 4 th. The Cabin was prefect. Very clean and nicely away from the busy strip. The Resort pool was a nice added feature during those hot days. The communications via the app was a great concept and we loved having up dates on the cabin and thru the stay. The location is perfect being only 15 minutes from the strip. Will defiantly go back again.

    It was the PERFECT getaway for our 19 yr wedding anniversary. It was clean,quiet and serene!! We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub that was located on our back balcony. The game room was a plus. My husband taught me to play pool and I actually beat him at 1 game. We took advantage of the entire space it was perfect for just us two. We are considering making this our to go to spot.

    The cabin was very nice, exceptionally clean, and in a great location. The only complaints were the barking dogs located across the road from the resort that barked off and on during the night. Also, I could not locate how to turn on Netflix and when I called and a maintenance person came out, they had no idea about it at all. If it isn't available in the cabin, it should not be written into the description of the cabin.

    I was impressed with the service and how nice the cabin was. I loved that the cabin was decorated for Christmas and how easy the experience was with the app your company has. I would defiantly go back to Gatlinburg. The free dvd rental was an unexpected surprise and we loved the alpine roller coaster down the road.

    It was very close to all of the action. Easy and fast access to the Tanger Outlet and also very close to Stop Light 3 in Pigeon Forge. Perfect depending on where you are going.     The cabin was in a great location and not far from Pigeon Forge. The cabin had about every amenity that you could want. There is even a indoor swimming area and an outdoor pool within the community. The only thing in our cabin that was not working was the shower. Plus, you may encounter visitors rummaging through the garbage, make sure you keep your garbage inside the cabin until your departure, unless you want visited by a bear or two.

    Very nice and beautifully decorated cabin. Game room needs updating. Awesome sauna and hot tub,really needs a step up for the hot tub kind of hard for a short person to get in. Was a bit put off by the long list of rules and things we would be charged for if things were damaged or missing. Guess they have to cover everything! Got two solicitation calls on the cabin phone. Decided to grill out on the last night but the grill wouldn't light. Overall it was a good vacation .

    The entrance was totally unexpected. There was this great looking waterfall where we entered via the security gate. The resort grounds were landscaped. and there were curbs, which surprised me. We loved the cabin. The bedroom was large, but the master bath was small. I really liked the half bath, though. I also enjoyed the hot tub. A couple of steps to get in it would have been nice. We had a very nice stay.

    Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend to anyone. We have only minor complaints. The WIFI password was all lower case letters and not caps like most i have encountered encountered. Took few tries to figure it out. The alarm system does not come with good directions for use so we chose not to use it at all after a neighbor had theirs go off for 21 minutes. We never found the Netflix nor were we told how to access it but we didn't ask either because we used free movie rental. The parking space is very small so we parked parallel with cabin to enaure we were not sticking out in road. Last is cleaning service left envelope asking for tips. We felt that was bit tacky.

    The day we arrived we spent from 10pm that night until 1 am trying to get the access code for the gate. We were given the code to the cabin but not the gate. Called and spoke with several customer service agents that all said that they were not local to the are and only knew what information that was on the computer. Finally at 1 am and 3 customer service people later we got the gate code. Then spent the rest of our stay calling everyday to find out the Internet passcode with no success. We own a business and the wifi was very important part of the stay (we found a local business with wifi and went there daily to conduct our business.) the customer service reps were no help they said the wifi code was on the router but wasn't. With them on the phone we put the routers S/N and other numbers in but still wasn't the passcode.

We do apologize for the disappointment you experienced while staying with us. We regret to hear that you had any issues. We do apologize for the breakdown in communication as to the gate code. The gate is printed on the direction sheet that would have been emailed to you. As you may or may not know all of our cabins are privately owned and we have several throughout Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. With each of the cabins being privately owned it can be a unique experience in each of them. With that being said, the owner of the cabin had changed the internet provider and password and we were unsuccessful contacting the owner until it was too late to make that difference. As we are very understanding that in today's business market as a business owner it is very imperative to have access to internet, we are very sorry this situation was not resolved during your stay.     The cabin was cute. But the bed was uncomfortable. The couch was a sofa sleeper, you had metal rods to sit on if you set on the ends of sofa. The kitchen had a stain of jelly or something like that in front of refrigerator. The Jacuzzi had black flakes that came out of jets, flotating in tub. Other than those problems...we enjoyed the cabin, the back porch with a swing and rockers. The pool table was not level... but laughed playing pool. The rest of cabin was clean.

We do apologize for the disappointment you experienced while staying with us. We regret to hear that you had any issues. I am sorry to hear that you did not find the cabin cleaned to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, I cannot find any recordings of you calling to share concerns about the cleanliness of the cabin nor do I show any work order requests for cleaners to return. Had you said anything about your concerns during your stay we would have gladly sent the cleaners back to address them. We contract cleaners to clean each cabin and they understand that if the cleaning is not considered satisfactory to a guest they will be expected to return to the cabin to address any issues. Now that you are gone there is no way for us to take issue with the manner in which they cleaned the cabin. In the future we would respectfully request that you let us know so that we can have the opportunity to immediately address it. We do apologize about sofa sleeper and will address that issue with the owner of the cabin. I truly regret that your last visit did not exceed all of your hopes and expectations.     We booked Sweet Surrender for the week of Oct. 4,2014 through Oct.11,2014. The cabin was very clean when we arrived with ample towels, pillows, etc. The bedroom was very spacious! The king sized bed was very comfortable.

    We have two small dogs...a Chihuahua and a Minpin and found the cabin in a convenient area to walk them due to the grassy area across the street that is fairly level. The dogs loved their multiple daily strolls in the Smokies! Thank you for being pet friendly at this cabin! :)

    The coupons that Eden Crest supplied came in quite handy! We got good use from the free movie rental card as the cabin has a wonderful surround sound system in the living room. It made movie watching quite enjoyable! We also had a lovely dinner at "Mama's" one night as well (buy one dinner get one free).

    There was an issue with the refrigerator making a "whining, whirling" sound on occasion. It worked fine, but was a bit noisy at times. Also, I was disappointed that the large front deck didn't have any furniture on it. It's a great large space and after walking the dogs, it would have been nice to sit a spell on the front porch before going into the house, but furniture! Seemed like a waste of space to me. The back deck had a porch swing, two rockers, gas grill, sauna and hot tub. Adequate, but a small table between the two rockers would have made it more comfortable for setting a cup of coffee down in the morning. Also, the hot tub could use some steps up to it for better convenience and safety when entering and exiting the hot tub.

    Overall, our vacation was quite pleasant and we found the staff at Eden Crest quite helpful with recommendations for tourist attractions and so forth! We wouldn't hesitate to book again through them. I do highly recommend visiting "The Titanic"! Very interesting exhibit that leaves one with a very soulful, reverent experience.

    We had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sweet Surrender. Everything was nice and clean and ready to go. It isn't private, but we couldn't hear any noise or neighbors once inside. On the back porch, you only have a view of trees, but it is quiet. I can't wait to come back. We will rent again through Eden Crest and hopefully stay at Sweet Surrender again!! FYI - one goal on the air hockey table doesn't work. My son was rather upset.
