    Very pleasantly surprised with this rental! It accommodated us nicely. It was nicely situated among everything yet still quiet and out of the main drag. Amenities were great. Plenty of towels!! The TV could use updating and for some reason there are wires in the bedrooms for televisions, but no TV in either room. That was a disappointment. But the kids LOVED the Ping Pong table so it all worked out. The biggest complaint I have would be the check in procedure. We were told we would receive a code at 4:00. We got to the unit early at 3:00 and were told it was not ready and that someone would call us with the code if was ready early and we could check in a few minutes early. We sat in the parking lot for an hour and no one entered or left the condo, which indicates to us that it was already ready but no one was willing to go the extra mile to let us in a few minutes early. It was several minutes after 4:00 and still no code was sent to us. I had to call to get it and the lady I spoke with seemed a little frustrated that I was calling to get the code...apparently I'm supposed to wait for it. I did receive the code via text well after 4:00 and after my phone call. We had a baseball tournament and a very busy weekend, so the extra hour in the condo to get unpacked would have been fantastic. Other than that, no complaints with the stay itself.

    The room was more than I expected. With a full living room complete with fireplace, full dining area, and completely furnished kitchen I did not think we would ever have to live the room. It had 3 nice size rooms, all equipped with bunk beds and two rooms also furnished full size beds. Two bathrooms, one of which was attached to one bedroom and hallway while the other was attached to another room.

    Overall the room and the service was more than we expected. The office staff were nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains but still very close to dining and shopping.

    Overall it was great, the cabin was very nice, clean and comfortable. The late check in time was the big downer for us, we has to be at the wedding at 5pm and could not access our cabin until 4pm to get ready. We arrived in Pegion Forge and thought that we would be able to rest after a long five hour drive and then get dressed, but instead we had to waste time until we could gain access to the cabin then rush to get dressed and was late to the wedding.

    It was a very beautiful condo the only things I have to complain about was the living room furniture and the couch pillows they were dirty looking with rips in them I took a blanket and covered them, the back bathroom had big black ants, also couldnt sit on deck due to lots of wasps that were on the flowering tree other than that it was very nice. I would return and recommend it to my friends.

    Not terrible, but the description of condo was off. No wooden rockers on porch to enjoy view, just generic metal chairs. Television is a 20" tube needs updated. No coffee maker in kitchen as stated, furniture broken down. Overall would of been a nice place, check in was very confusing. Office unit on sight is never open, why have the sign.

    I was dissapointed in the reservation process. I was given derivations to the wrong cabin and my email confirmed the wrong cabin. We completely unloaded everything and hiked up 3 flights of stairs only to have to repack the buses and go to the correct cabin. In ALL my emails and phone conversations there was never a mention of Poplar Point. I was continual told Brierfield Lodge.

    It was a strange experience. We never SAW a person the whole 5 days we were there. No one checked us in and no other people were staying there. It was different. The lodge was very nice, all except the mattress on the queen bed and the two sofas, which were filthy and broken down. If those things were fixed it would be a great place to stay.

Smokey Mountain Christian Village has gone bankrupt and the bank has taken ownership to it and has asked us to manage the property. We have our office located on Wears Valley which is a few miles from there. We have a set up to allow our guests to check into there units without actually having to come to the office to check in. It's more of a convince to the guests to have a check in system in place like that although it does take away from the personal aspect of the check in process. We greatly appreciate you bring attention to us about the beds. It is our goal to get this property to its best condition. Our desire at Eden Crest is to try and provide all guests with a wonderful vacation experience. We apologize that your stay was not all that you hoped for but wish that you would reconsider visiting us in the future and allowing one of our Vacation Planners to help you find a more suitable cabin.
